Rank Order Assessments are held twice a year for all year groups. After marking and moderation the individual student results are ‘rank ordered’. This involves the ordering of student results from top to bottom within each year group.
This ‘Rank’ enables students to see how well they have performed compared to others. The test scores and ranks are published with students and parents in a report.
Each ‘Rank Order’ is followed by a parent consultation evening so that results can be discussed with teachers and form tutors.
The Rank Order is then used to re-set students.
