Should you wish to apply for a school place at The Cornerstone Academy, all our applications are coordinated by BCP School Admissions.

The Cornerstone Academy is proud to be at the heart of the community and we are committed to meeting the needs of our young people in the 11-16 age range. Parents who apply for a place at The Cornerstone Academy recognise and support our ideal of secondary education for the whole family, irrespective of ability, and admissions are made without reference to ability or aptitude.

We are particularly proud of the individual care and support we can offer our students, whilst offering a wide range of GCSE courses alongside a diverse vocational programme.

If your child's date of birth is between 01.09.13 and 31.08.14 ,they will start secondary school in September 2025 and the closing date for on time applications is 31st October 2024.

It is very important that your application is received by this date as you will stand a much greater chance of securing a place in one of your preferred schools.

In-year admissions can be either when a child starts in a school part way through the school year, or in September but not in the normal year of entry for that school. If you are considering an In Year Application and would like to arrange a Prospective Visit of the Academy with a member of the Year Team prior to making an application, please contact Admissions on 01202 676789 or email admissions@cornerstoneacademy.org.uk so that this can be arranged.

If you have applied for a place at The Cornerstone Academy and have been refused a place you are entitled to appeal the decision.
