Antibullying

At The Cornerstone Academy, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. As part of this commitment, we take bullying very seriously.

Bullying behaviours can have a significant impact on a student's well-being, mental health, and academic performance. We believe that every student has the right to feel safe and respected at school. That's why we have implemented a range of strategies to prevent and address bullying behaviour including appointing Anti Bullying Ambassadors as part of the Diana Trust.

We have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and harassment. This means that any form of bullying behaviour, whether verbal, physical, or online, will not be tolerated. We have clear guidelines and procedures in place for reporting and dealing with bullying behaviours.

We also promote a positive school culture that values respect, empathy, and kindness. We encourage students to speak up if they witness bullying behaviours and to support each other in creating a safe and inclusive community.

We believe that by working together, we can create a school environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
