In Key Stage 4, all of the opportunities and support presented to you in Years 7, 8 and 9 still apply, with the addition of the following:

During year 10 you will:

  • Have taken part in a mock interview with a local employer
  • Have taken part in a one week work experience placement
  • Have reflected on your work experience placement
  • Have identified your 1st and 2nd post 16 choice - a back-up plan is crucial
  • Collapsed timetable days devoted to CV writing, interview preparation and careers guidance.

During year 11 you will:

  • Have developed a good understanding of employability skills and entrepreneurship competences
  • Have applied to a 1st choice and 2nd choice post 16 option
  • Partaken in assemblies from various 6th forms and colleges, apprenticeship providers and local businesses
